This is where the first coffee shop in London stood.

Stop 5

Behind the Pump is an entrance to the Cornhill. It’s a beautiful building with a lot of expensive shops.

Outside the front of the Cornhill are 12 lamp post, on each lamp post is a brass shield. Each shield represents one of the livery company's

Stop 7

St Stephen Walbrook

A lovely simple church and its cool in the heat of the summer and has a pew to sit on

Stop 8

London Mithraeum

This is one of my favourite places in London.

It is definitely different.

You do need to book a time slot, but it is free and there are usually plenty of tickets.

Has toilets.

On the way to the London stone there are supermarkets and coffee shops and a lovely water feature.

Stop 9

London Stone

The remains of the London stone

Behind the London stone is Cannon street station, water refill station and toilets here also the plumbers apprentice statue is in the station.

Stop 10

St Swithin's Church Garden

A lovely secluded green space away from the bustle, but be careful when you sit on the benches, they can be hot, If in direct sunlight!!!

Lovely little green space with benches and sone statues that I think look like wraith riders from lord of the rings!!!

Stop 2

In front of St James Garlickhythe

The Barge Master & Swan Marker statue.

Stop 3

Millennium Bridge

Looks down on the bridge to see the chewing gum art and if you are really lucky you may meet the artist. https://benwilsonchewinggumman.com/home-2/gum_pictures

Stop 4

Shakespeare's Globe

You can go in for a tour or to see a play, but you need tickets and you need to pay

Look at the barrier along the Thames and you will find Shakespeare’s words.

Stop 9

The Golden Hinde

Walked past many times but again never been in. You do have to pay but I don’t think you have to book.

Stop 10

Minerva

This area is stunning it’s the back of Southwark Cathedral and there is a lovely statue here.

Southwark cathedral is definitely worth going into, but if you want to take photos, they did ask for £1 donation (prices may have changed I visited pre covid)

Brough Market is extremely close by if you want some street food.

If you still want to see more in the same area you can follow this walk that starts at the Southwark cathedral here

This is what you will see if you decide to do the walk.

Southwark Cathedral/Borough Market

John Keats Statue

The Shard/London Bridge Station

The Navigators Steampunk Statue

HMS Belfast

Batman Building

The Queens Walk

Fountain

Jacob, the Dray Horse

Google maps says its 1.7 miles and takes 27 mins. It will take longer as you will be looking at things not just walking!!!

You also need to get back from the end by either walking or via a bus
