Had a fantastic day with family celebrating two birthdays!!!!

We started off at covent garden station, where we wondered around, we popped to Neil's yard, then went looking for the water clock only to realise that we had already walked passed it!!! Then it was on to find the H&M building and found other bits along the way, next up the lamb and flag pub to find the plaque that reads

"On the 19th December 1679 in the alleyway by the lamb and flag the poor John Dryden was nearly done to death by rogues hired by the Earl if Rochester"

We then headed into covent garden, found the punch and judy plaque, a balloon dog, the moomin shop and Christmas decs and lights!!!

We then sat in a lovely coffee shop had a drink and food.

After we went searching for the elephant, who was just round the corner from the coffee shop 😂😂, he was very cool.

Next stop was to find the ballerina statue and on the way found the bridge of aspirations which I though was odd but very beautiful in an odd way!!

After the ballerina statue we went to the peacock theater, on the way we found the falling down building art insulation?? And the upside down earth.

Made it to the peacock theater and watched the snowman ballet. My second time watching it and I loved it just as much as the first time!!!

After the snowman we had dinner at the William Shakespeare pub, which was yummy. After dinner we went and did something I've never done before watched a comedian at the top secret comedy club. It was very amusing and a good laugh.

We then headed to St pancreas to see the Christmas tree.....hummmm very small and disappointing!! But the lovers statue made up for it, I think it's my favourite statue in London.

I left the family to get their train and headed to piccadilly circus to find the Christmas light!!!

Eventually made to to Carnaby Street and the beautiful butterflies, so stunning. Also decided that as I was there to find the mural and the john Adam cholera pump.

I then walked down Regents Street and looked at all the Christmas windows in the shops.

Eventually I made it home. I had a really lovely day

Walked 9 miles
