Whow it was amazing and the audio guide was read by Jeremy irons!!! Love his voice, fantastic actor too.
What a fascinating place Westminster abbey is.
Got in for free due to being NHS, you just show your work ID and if they have space they let you in!!!
I did pay £4.50 to go to the queens diamond jubilee gallery and promptly got told off for taking photos!!! I did manage to get a fantastic pic looking down over the abbey.
After I went to st Thomas hospital to find the nursery rhyme tiles. This is something that has been on my to do list for years and boy are they worth seeing absolutely exquisite.
Next I made my way to Charing Cross McDonald’s and had a double cheese burger and large fries for £1.99 yep I had a voucher 😀😀 and a medium Fanta.
I then popped to sainsburys next door and bought a gin and rose lemonade and some reduced food for the trip home.
Then sat in Victoria embankment garden on a very comfortable deck chair and waited for the show to start drinking gin out of a can!!
Something I have never done before!!!
Unfortunately due to cast illness the show was cancelled!!!
I was meant to be seeing Ride a new musical about an American woman who in 1895 returned to America as the first woman to ever cycle the globe. I had a front row seat £15 reduced from £50!!!
I got a full refund but I would of rather seen the show, but never mind I will just have to keep my eyes open for another cheap ticket!!!
After my gin I decided to go find the man in the clock at Paddington. He was brilliant and of cause you can’t not go to Paddington without going to see Paddington bear he’s moved back to platform 1!!!!
I then went to find the stain glass green house which unfortunately did not have the lights on.
