Started the day at marble arch, found the marble arch Station labyrinth 😁😁😁 then found a huge sculpture of a horses head.

Found the orphan elephant statues, which was what I went to see. They are so beautiful but it’s sad at the same time. Same with my next Stop, which was the war memorial to all the animals that died in war.

Next I got the bus, instead of the train to Tottenham Court Station where it started to spit with rain.

All plans changed I was not getting drenched like last time!!!!!

So I headed to the British museum.

I lost count of how many countries I went to!! The place is huge!! I was there for over 3hrs and there’s still more to see!!!! oh and the spitting rain stopped and there was no real rain!!! Still had fun though 😊😊

Next up back to Tottenham Court Station and a quick shop at primark as I needed some new vest tops then on to Leicester Square for a 99p coffee at pret and a quarter chease and chips for Ā£1.99 from McDonald’s again šŸ˜‹šŸ˜‹ I love the metro newspaper and their vouchers šŸ˜šŸ˜

I then walked off dinner by heading to Piccadilly and proceeding to get lost!!

Note to self when you print out a map to get to the theatre and then pencil in where tescos is to get a sandwich meal deal for the journey home. Make sure you put tescos on the right road on the printed map!!!

Or you will get lost!

Again!

On the upside I did find the Florence nightingale statue 😁😁

Finally after a lot of walking I found the theatre and saw phantom of the opera. Oh my god, it sent shivers down my spine it was superb, unbelievable amazing, I really really want to see it again.

It was in the interval that my son informed me that I had forgotten my door key!!! Knew I’d forgotten something this morning. Thankfully he stayed awake to let me in, cause if he’d gone to sleep, I would of had no hope of getting in!!! Both my son and daughter in law could sleep through a hurricane and not know a thing about it!!!!

So home safe and sound, walked 9 miles and now off to bed!!!!
