London with dad 17.07.2019

Went to London yesterday and didn't get back till late.

Met up with my dad 😀😀 we had an amazing day, though I'm paying for it now everything aches!!!!!

So we started the day at tower hill and walked to tower Bridge and went inside and up, some amazing views and they have a glass walkway!!

Next was the bridges engine room which was fascinating

We then waked to St dunstan in the east. A beautiful oasis, it's a bombed out church where the trees have come through, truly breathtaking. Had lunch there then walked to the monument and up 311!!!!!!! Stair's to the top!!! Never doing that again!!!! But worth it for the views of London and I got a certificate 😀😀😀 we then walked to the temple of mithraeum one of my favourite places, past the London stone 😀😀😀 I finally found it!!!

Then we popped into a church st Stephen Walbrook then it was on to the bank of England and the royal exchange we went into the royal exchange very very posh and expensive!!!

We then had time to kill before we went to the sky garden. Took dad to leadenhall market where scenes from harry Potter were filmed. Then we just wondered and found some sculptures and what not, oh and the TV screen garden which had it been open would have lead to a roof garden but it was closed for a private function.

Went up to the sky garden which is in the walkie-talkie building, amazing views of London.

Next we got the bus to St Paul's, we walked the millennium bridge and saw the globe and back again!!!

Went in to St Paul's and listened to an organ recital, I got told off for taking photos!!! No pics allowed during a concert only in the day!!

We then jumped on the underground and went to harry Potter primark 😀😀 dad found a labyrinth!!!! Been trying for years to find one at any underground station!!!

We then popped to the fake number 10 downing street (10 Adam Street) and finally we made our way home.

A very packed day but it was absolutely fantastic day!!!😀😀😀😀
