So didn’t really have a plan for today other than have a lay in...that didn’t happen my grandson decided to crash through my bedroom door at 8am!!!

And I do mean crash he pushed my door so hard to get it open he fell forwards on to the floor!!!

Grandma was not impressed!!!!

And promptly went back to sleep the joys of working nights!!!

Eventually made it to London at 15.00 and headed for the church, st. Bartholomew the great, to have a look round and see the gold Damion hirst statue of st.Bartholomew.

Whow it was stunning. The church was lovely too, very old.

After that I just wondered around, I knew there were a couple of statues around there somewhere that’s been on my list so I went hunting for them.

Found the three printers in a stunning sunken garden.

Also found the London wall again and another statue called the gardener and the Minotaur.... He has very big boy bits!!!! and a set of stunning gates.

After I made my way to the one change building for a pee and water refill and as I was there I popped to the roof terrace, again.

I love the view!!

Next stop was paternoster square to see the animals having dinner.

OMG it was stunning

Next I jumped on the bus to Charing Cross McDonald’s and had dinner. I love £1.99 McDonald’s vouchers!!!

I then made my way to Piccadilly Circus and the lyric theatre for a modern dance solo performance by Maria Caruso.

Seat was a14 paid £18 reduced from £54.

I have never seen a modern dance performance before, but I think I got it... there were different coloured dresses that she wore and each dress changed her emotional state.

There are only 2 performance in London so very limited. I have to say I really enjoyed it, especially being front row it felt so personal as if she was dancing for me.

Currently heading home. Managed to get the 21.45 train home and get food and wine!!!

Walked 7miles and I’m exhausted
