Well yesterday turned out to be a cat day!!!

Went in via London Bridge as the Victoria train’s are up the spout!!

Got the underground to Waterloo and went looking for a mosaic in St. John’s garden.

Next I went lion hunting!!!! Found them!! Elsa was there on top of the land rover looking stunning!!

After I walked towards the Thames via leak street tunnel. A fantastic place covered in graffiti. Then it was the jubilee park and garden where I found some blue squirrel’s and the London eye. I’ve never seen the eye from this angle before it’s huge!!!!

Next stop was to see the sad lion. The story goes, he’s a sad lion because he has no boy buts!!! He is definitely a he, he has a mane and he has such a sad expression on his face. FYI it’s true he has no boy bits!!!😁😁

I had planned to go to st Thomas hospital garden but decided against it as it’s a covid centre and I was running out of time. I did find the covid memorial wall. So sad and so long!!!!! Very touching.

Walked across Westminster bridge saw Big Ben!!!

Then I headed to St. Paul’s for 14.00

Whow!!!!

NHS staff are getting in for free!!!! just book a timed slot on the website and take your nhs id.

I bought myself the guide book for £5 via the website before I got there only to find out that I got a free audio guide or an in person guide. I went on a 1hr 45min tour the guide was fantastic we had ex English teacher who grew up in the area and knew loads about the history of St. Paul and the local area, well worth it. I had an amazing time it was so informative!!

Next I went to McDonald’s for food!!!! Yep had the £1.99 voucher for a quarter pounder and medium chips I also go a coffee for 99p.

After I jumped on the bus to go to the Lyceum theatre for the lion king!!!! Oh whow it was amazing, absolutely fantastic. I was so lucky to get seat e27 for only £33!!!!! Reduced from£98.50!!

The lion king has been at the top of my wish list for forever!!! I also treated myself to the souvenir book £10!! But I got a free tote bag, I feel so lucky!!! The lion king is absolutely fantastic!!! Made my day, possibly my year!!!!

The only downside was the trains!!! as soon as the curtain went down I had to make a mad dash to London Bridge to make sure I got home. Which meant that I didn’t get to see all of the bows and hear the audience cheer. Unfortunately Lion king finished at 22.10 and the train left at 22.45!!! A bus and the underground ride later I made it onto the train with 3mins to spare!!!!

No wine or food this time as I had no time!!! But I did make it home.

Mind I think there may be a later train at 23.15 but I’m not 100% sure.

Obviously I was starving when I got to Worthing so had a doner meat and chips with mayo and all salad yummm.

Didn’t walk to far managed a good 8 miles.

It was a fantastic day!!!
