Walked from Charing Cross to the sondheim theatre, found the new greggs in Leicester Square and a dragon?? Dog?? on the side of a building, it’s Chinese new year.
Made it to the sondheim theatre to be told unfortunately we have double booked your ticket!!!
I was in A10 £105 reduced to £50.
I got upgraded to E14 £185!!! Premium seat!!!!
I couldn’t say no!!!
Les miserables has been the last of my top 5 to see for years, trust me £50 was cheap for the original seat I got even if it was to the side!!!, the other 4 on my top 5 were the lion king, phantom of the opera, the snowman, and cirque du soleil.
Finally it was 14.30 I am sitting in the most amazing seat and I have tears in my eyes, another dream I never thought I would ever for fill.
The show was spectacular!!!!
The sets and scene changes amazing.
I can honestly say it was a privilege to watch, and listen to such amazing voices.
After I had a too good to go bag booked (thought I would change it up from McDonald’s) so I walked through soho via a Tesco for a bottle of wine to Sababa station a Mediterranean restaurant and got my food £5 reduced from £12 to good to go dinner. In all honesty I would not get it again and definitely not for full price. There was plenty of food, rice, chicken, potatoes, salad but it was tasteless the best part was the rice and salad!!! But it filled a whole, wish I could of bought the leftovers home but it definitely wouldn’t travel.
So full up and fortified with a glass of wine. It was decision time, I have 45min before I can get a train home.
Do I head to Victoria and hang around till 19.00 or do I do the Canary Wharf light walk, in the freezing cold, carrying an almost full bottle of wine in my rucksack...... yep light walk it is!!!
So I jumped on the Elizabeth line and went to Canary Wharf oh boy it was quick 13mins!!!! From Tottenham Court Road.
Made to to the light walk found number 13 by accident while looking for a toilet so started there, missed number 12 huge que!! Popped to the roof garden found a load of spiders. Then I just followed the sign posts Canary Wharf is a fantastic place but I have never seen it so busy!!!!!
Followed the light trail and also found some sculptures on the way.
Eventually I made it to the end, yes I missed quiet a few but the finale was the earth floating in the water, absolutely beautiful.
It was, by this time freeeeeeeeeeing cold!!!!!! And I had had enough, so jumped on the underground to Victoria, home nice and early by 22.00
