My last day 😭😭😭

Found dick Whittingtons cat 😀😀

Then started walking up hill!!

Note to self

When the place your going to is called Highgate HILL cemetery get the bus!!!!! It's all up HILL!!! and it's 24 degrees!!!!!

Finally made it to Highgate cemetery. Oh boy what a stunning place. It did cost £14.50 to get into the east, west cemeteries and a lovely guide book. I know I usually don't spend money but this place has been on my list for years but it's only open on Saturdays normally and its a guided tour, £14 but due to covid it's open everyday for a self guided tour!!

So started off in the west cemetery it was beautiful, sad but stunning walked up hill to walk down hill almost ended up falling over the downhill path was rather step and slippery!!!

The east cemetery was huge!!!! Again lots of up and down hills, I did find Karl marx grave. I spent 3 hours wondering around!!

And just to touture my feet a bit more I then walked round the park, yep it was all up hill to go down hill!!

Has lunch at McDonald’s then headed to find the queenhithe mosaic (not one of the ones my sister and I tried to find yesterday another one)

On the way found some interesting bits and a couple of statues that I can tick off my list. One pair remind me of the ringwraith riders in lord of the rings!!! Very cool.

Found the queenhithe mosaic which is a time line of history!!

At this point I'm done in, it's too hot!!, so I sat in a park on a bench in the shade, drank another bottle of water and took my shoes and socks off. Whow my socks stank 😂😂😂

Eventually I moved, popped back to the hotel grabbed my bag and on the way to the underground bought an amazing slush puppy for £3!!! Expensive but omg it was amazing and just what I needed.

I then had a quick wonder about at Victoria station before jumping on the train home and having a bottle of wine and king pawn pasta 😀😀😀

It has been a fantastic 3 days but my feet hurt and I have a blister on the sole of my left foot!!! Never had one there before!!!
