London double bill again!! Spitting Image and Aspects of Love

There was no plan for yesterday except see the two shows.

So jumped on the train and made it to London only had about 50mins to spare before spitting image started so wondered around and found a garden. The Phoenix garden. It was beautiful and there were a ton of blackberries, not ripe,but boy someone is going to enjoy them when they are ready. It always amazes me that just a few steps off of a busy, crowded,tourist route there can be a spot of peace and tranquility in London, definitely a place to remember for the future.

Spitting Images was great fun. Seat AA5 in the stalls (front row) amazing view loads of leg room. Seat was £25 reduced from £54, but I had a voucher so only paid £15!!

After the show I quickly crossed the road and ordered a small scampi and chips with a cider from Wetherspoons. Just managed to get the order in before 17.00, which meant instead of £10.20 I paid £8.70. Never had scampi before it was nice, but I prefer normal fish and chips.

Dinner done I made my way to Leicester Square to find the new Indiana jones statue, very cool.

After that I just wondered around aimlessly.

Found a lovely seated area with a big screen showing Wimbledon so sat and watched that for a while, then wondered about and found a few bits that I found interesting, I love statues on buildings!!

It was then time to make my way to aspects of love with Michael Ball!!!

Seat A14 front row again. Paid £25 reduced from £50. What an absolute amazing show and the singing was first class absolutely incredible.

As usual it was the mad dash to Victoria, grabbing food and wine in the way. Made the train and waited.

Saw station police walk by and my heart sank, something had happened we we’re going to be delayed.

Yep an announcement came stating

"unfortunately this train has been delayed as the driver has smelt cannabis in the driving car.

This 12 car train will now become an 8 car train, please can all passengers in cars 1-4 move back to cars 5 and beyond, so 1-4 can be detached."

Well it's definitely different than the usual, people trespassing on the line!!

Eventually we left Victoria and I was on my way home!!!! A lot later than planned!!!

Walked 7 miles and had a really good day.
