So today I had no intention of being in London!! But.......

I got a real bargain on a ticket to the opera.

If you thought lion king was cheap this one was sooo much better!!!

So I decided to spend the day looking for interesting stuff on the underground!!

Yep definitely different.

Went in via Victoria and straight onto the underground, first stop Sloan square to see the big green thing, which is actually a river that runs over the underground!! also found a labyrinth, found a lot of labyrinth’s today😀

Gloucester Road next to change lines, only found a labyrinth there, unfortunately the egg art has gone 😩

Notting Hill Gate found a tiled compass on the floor and a labyrinth

At Bayswater I left the station!!

Found a labyrinth and then walked to the fake house which from behind you can see the underground very cool.

Paddington was next and the toilets there are very cool, also popped and saw Paddington bear on platform 1, had to be done, also found another labyrinth.

Edgware Road next, yep another labyrinth along with a lovely ticket office and the green wall.

Marylebone and another labyrinth and an interesting history of the station as well as sinks outside the toilets, I guess because of covid.

Baker Street was next and Sherlock Holmes, no labyrinth this time I could not find it anywhere!!!!

Oxford Circus where I found a labyrinth and an interesting wall that looks like people in a maze or on escalators??

Charing Cross was my final underground station found a labyrinth, a tiger and a dragon 😀😀

Dinner was at Charing Cross McDonald’s had the usual.

I then jumped on to the bus and went to Covent garden where i wondered about until it was time to go to the royal opera house!!!

I do not know how I did this, and for the life of me I could not repeat it, but I managed to get a £183 ticket to the opera don Pasquale seat b22 in the orchestra stalls for.............can you guess??..........£10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’d never been to an opera before, never been to the royal opera house either, they were both fantastic, and the opera was very amusing. I really enjoyed myself, definitely something I never thought I would do.

Managed to nip to Tesco on the way to Victoria and bashed my head when I bent down to get my bag off the floor!!!!ouch!!! no wine tonight as I have another day out tomorrow!!!!! Chichester this time.

Made the train with time to spare, hopefully this will be uploaded by the time I get home, train internet is not the best!!!

Walked 7 and a half miles!!!
