My feet hurt!!!

Started the day at Victoria and jumped on the bus to Vauxhall bridge, could of walked but I was feeling lazy!!!

Got off the bus and made my way to the Tate Britain finding some very cool art/statues on the way.

The Tate Britain, now anyone who knows me knows I’m not really into art, but I did enjoy the Tate Britain. Found two Lowry’s and ended up with Tommy Steeles matchstick men song stuck in my head!!!

Thanks for that dad!!!!

I also enjoyed the Turner and Constable exhibit and really enjoyed the Henry Moore exhibit.

I still don’t understand modern art!!! Hummmn how to word this... why would you have three man shaped statues dressed in.....fetish gear??? With holes in inappropriate places???? How is that art!!!!!

Or a stack of egg boxes????

After the Tate Britain I got the bus to Charing Cross found a new Harry Potter shop and had dinner at McDonald’s all for free!!!! I have been collecting points every time I’ve eaten there so I redeemed some!!!

After dinner I had just over 2 hours before the theatre so I went to Covent Garden’s and did the tusk gorilla trail. I think I found them all. My favourite was the Peter Pan one. I love these art trails as they take you to places you never knew about!!! Mind Covent Garden’s was so busy I was glad to get away!!! Far too many people!!!

After the gorilla trail I caught the bus back towards Trafalgar Square, found a bench and had a gin in a tin!!!! I like the rhubarb and ginger one, much nicer than the rose one, I was disappointed they had no rose gin but not for long!!

It was finally time for the theatre. The accidental death of an anarchist. Seat A8 stalls paid £15 reduced from £25.

What a brilliant show, now I’m not one for comedy as most of today’s comedy is just not funny!!! This show was intelligently funny!!!! And thought provoking. Highly recommended by me!!!

For a change there was no mad dash for home!!!! The play was 2hrs long which meant I had 45 mins to get to Victoria!!! a very nice luxury. Grabbed food and wine for the journey home, made the 22.15 with time to spare.

It’s been a really lovely day.

Walked 8.5 miles but it feels more!!!

If all goes well I should be home by midnight, currently on the train, not sure where but I’m heading home!!!!
