Well it’s definitely been a day!!!

Woke up with both knees and my back pain, absolutely no idea why and to be honestly had I not had a theatre ticket booked, I would not of gone to London.

Grabbed the pain pills, vitamin D pills, the magnesium spray and for good measure took one of the big magnesium pills!!!!

Got the 11.34 train having persuaded myself that I didn’t need the extra sleep and it was a beautiful day!! all would be good once I started moving!!

Made it almost to Haywards Heath and the announcement came. Someone had been hit by a train. Should of stayed in bed....last time it took over 4hours before the trains started running again.

So popped next door to Waitrose to see what they had food wise but to be honest I wasn’t hungry. I did find much to my surprise a wine bar in Waitrose!!!

Who know they had wine bars???!!!

Hung around a bit more and decided to go to the pub across the road.

My back hurt there were no seats anywhere and the wine bar was expensive! £6 for a small wine!!

Got half a cider £2.50 and sat in the garden. Have to admit it was lovely sitting in the sun with nothing to do.

Finally at 14.15 I was on my way again. I really hope that because the delay was only 2hrs the person survived but I really don’t know.

Made it to London Bridge at 15.05, not Victoria as intended but it worked out well for me.

Jumped on the number 47 bus to Shoreditch and started my day graffiti hunting!!!

Accidentally found a Banksy that was on my to find list for a very long time, I had no idea it was so close to the William Shakespeare bench my original starting point.

After that I started walking, and I walked and I walked and I walked (fyi in my new shoes that are very tight and don’t bend like my older ones!!! They will eventually but I hate breaking in new shoes!!) found lots of graffiti art and some weird stuff like a fish on a pole?? Gold eggs??? Colourful broccoli?? And just strange art??

I did find a wooden mural down a side alley that was lovely.

Eventually I ended up at Spitalfields market with every intention of getting food and having a sit down, but they were doing a ton of work and all the seating areas were blocked off!!!

So I went elephant hunting instead.

They are definitely the same as the ones that were at Marble Arch many years ago and I think they are all at Spitalfields now, last time I was there they only had a few.

After finding the elephants I went to the fake house again as it was on my way to the bus stop.

I was going to get the underground but decided it was too nice a day so took the number 8 to Tottenham Court with the idea to pop to primark.

That didn’t work ran out of time!!! Traffic was terrible loads of roadworks and it was rush hour, but it was lovely to just sit down for 55mins and watch the world pass by.

Made the dash to the lyric theatre and made it with time to spare

I was seeing 2:22 A Ghost Story with Cheryl Cole?? seat stalls H25 sold as a restricted view. I paid £10!!!!! I think it was reduced from around the £50 mark!!

I booked the seat without knowing who was going to be in the play.

What to say about 2:22 A ghost story... not scary, (I do not scare easily) not funny (I don’t find what most people find funny...funny) not original, I guessed what was going on around the beginning of the second half, had a notion in the first half.

Would I see it again definitely not.

Am I glad I saw it yes for £10 but for £50 I would of been disappointed!!!

And then the mad dash home. I needed to be on the 22.15 train home, all trains after that turned into buses at Brighton and would add an extra hour and a bit to my journey.

I am hungry!!!! I’ve not eaten yet to day!!! Drunk half a cider and a ton of water but I’ve not had any food!!!!

Dashed out of the theatre before all the clapping etc made it to Tescos grabbed a meal deal and decided I was going to have some wine on the way home.

Dashed to the underground and walked down the escalator while it was moving!!!! I hate doing it I’m always afraid my knees will give out on me!!! But I did it and I made it to Victoria with 7mins to spare!!!!

Currently at Gatwick and if all goes well I’ll be home by midnight

Walked 9 miles and my face feels really hot...I may of caught the sun!!!! Need to pack the factor 50 summer is on its way!!!

It was a beautiful day all in all.
