Google maps says its 2.3 miles and takes 48 mins. It will take longer as you will be looking at things not just walking!!!

Béla Bartók Memorial

A lovely statue

Michelin House

An absolutely stunning building with stain glass window and tiled mosaics around it

Thin House

Something a little different.

Yalta Memorial Garden

A beautiful memorial

If you want to deviate from the walk and pop to a museum or 3 you are round the corner from the Natural History Museum, The Science Museum and The Victoria and Albert Museum. All 3 are fantast places to visit and I would recommend them all especially the Natural history Museum.

All of these museums are free to enter though in high season there can be queues.

London Oratory

This church is defiantly on my too see list, I’m just waiting for a rainy day!!

Statue

A beautiful statue

Harrods

I have taken the Harrods stop off the map route as google maps will only allow 10 stops and I think everyone will be able to see Harrods and I want you all to see Horse Head Statue at the end!!

Probably one of the most famous shops in London!!!

See if you can find the Egyptian escalator!!

If it’s sunny and you plan to sit in Hyde Park at the end of this walk. Just before Harrods on the opposite side of the road is a Waitrose and a Sainsbury’s… Picnic in the park??

Or on the opposite side of the road just after Harrods is a Starbucks, it might be worth getting a tea or coffee to enjoy in Hyde Park.

Mini map here just in case you need it!!! https://goo.gl/maps/4JRqptqK3kXQ7uYCA

Also according to the internet Harrods has public toilets, never used them so no idea if it’s true but if your desperate its worth an ask!!!

Rhino Statue

Look up!! A Rhino on top of a shop!! No idea why??

Pan Statue

A stunning statue

You can now head off to Knightsbridge underground station and go where ever you want or one stop to Hyde Park Corner and continue the walk

Or

You can head into Hyde Park and walk through the rose garden. Plenty of benches around to sit and watch the world go by, have a picnic or a drink and when the flowers are out the park is beautiful.

Wellington Arch

Be careful this is a bike lane!!!!!

Wellington arch is also a museum, nope not been yet but it is on my list!! I have a very long list of things I still want to see and do!!!

You do have to book tickets and pay to enter this museum but you can go up and outside on the balconies of Wellington Arch and look out over London's Royal Parks to the Houses of Parliament.

There are a lot of memorials in the wellington Arch area including one to The Duke of Wellington and Royal Artillery Memorial

Horse Head Statue

This statue is stunning. It used to be located at marble arch and to be honest I have not seen it in its new location but it’s defiantly worth seeing.

Not tired yet??? you can do this walk, A Walk Around Mayfair and Marble Arch. but I would advise doing it backwards!!

Jump on a bus or walk to Marble Arch and follow the route backwards from there

And here ends our journey together there will be more.
