It can be seen from the road, but it's so much better up close!!
To do this you need to walk up the concrete stairs, it looks like you going into a car park!! But your not it's, I think a concert office building. Not an architectural dream!!
There are benches here if you need/want a sit down.
This is one of my favourite sculptures. Around the bottom of the sculpture is the monologue by William Shakespeare from As You Like It. Also known as all he worlds a stage speech. Be careful not to get dizzy while walking round reading the script!!
Stop 4
The Blackfriar Pub
It's a beautiful pub both outside and in. Definitely worth popping in for a quick drink just to see the inside and use the toilet.
(better pics are coming, it was a very hot exhausting day and cider may of been involved!!)
Tesco and sainsbury are close by if you do need food or drink and are on a budget.
Stop 5
Hailing A Cab Statue
Ignore the map!!!! For some reason Google maps will not let you head south and round the corner!!!! It sends you north, east then south!!
Trust me just follow the road round towards the Thames and you will find the man hailing a cab
Stop 6
St George and The Dragon
Found this totally by accident but I like it, I think it's meant to be a water fountain who knows!!
There are benches hear if you need a sit down!!!
Stop 7
Whitefriars Crypt
Not your normal attractions and it is down some stairs and is literally a crypt that can be seen through a glass window.
Definitely different.
Magpie Alley is interesting all sorts of newspaper clippings.
Stop 8/9
Look down!!!
At the end of Cane ct, Red Lion ct, and all the way to Cheshire ct there is a plaque on the ground.
There are 7 of them to find
Last stop 10
Hodge The Cat
He's so cute and Dr Johnsons house is at the other end of the square. You can go in but you need to pay and check the opening times. I have no idea what's in it as I've never been
